Need help,

I was using Atmel Studio 7 with microvisual 1911_17_3 with ESP32, ESP8266 and atmega.

Today, I updated to version Visual.Micro.Arduino.Studio_20_03_18_0, and after restart AtmelStudio, IDE e Board choice are empty. When i click the select option, shows empty.

I cannot select where is my Arduino IDE. It is in d:\ drive, so it is not installed in formal way, I have to point the path.

Please, I'm stuck.

Thank you.

Carlos

There is no option try, screenshot attached.

And I restarted windows 10, also reinstalled Atmel Studio 7, and keeps the same ...

In Tools -> Options -> Visual Micro appears an error

Huh

That usually means we have a missing dll but we know the correct dlls are in the install.

Try installing from this forum https://www.visualmicro.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1584569196

If the issue continues then try installing with virus checker off. we use mcaffie and it is up to date + atmel scan our files when we submit to gallery so our vsix is safe.

Hi,

I did the following steps:

1. Downloaded the Download Visual Micro 20.03.18.0 for Atmel Studio 7 (v2 Installer) from forum https://www.visualmicro.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1584569196;
2. Disabled Avast antivurus;
3. Uninstalled Arduino IDE for Atmel Studio 7 extension from Atmel Studio;
4. Closed Atmel Studio;
5. Installed .exe from step 1;
6. Started Atmel Studio.....and  Voilà  Cheesy ... everything comes back.

I compiled an ESP32 project with ULP coprocessor (.s), and did smooth...

The Tools -> Options are ok, including the license key.

Thank you very much.

Carlos

Thanks for the report. The atmel gallery version had an installer issue. The forum or releases page has link to working install. We are waiting for atmel to publish it to the gallery.

I know you downloaded a fix but the latest also provides fix for some potential build issues so I have updated this thread
