Serial terminal line-endings, TX and RX

Hi,
I have found the configuration for sending from the serial terminal (cr,  cr+lf, lf, nothing)
But I cant find any way to configure the serial terminal how to behave on received chars.
I work across mixed equipment that uses different line-end chars.
Would it be possible to also be able to specify how the receive lines are treated, like how can be done for the transmit lines?
ie, the same config selection as TX. Separately configurable.
This is a feature often seen in serial terminal software.

If this already exists, can someone point me in the right direction so I can adjust the RX settings.
Thanks.
StewieTee.
