Visual studio 2017 vs 2019 for C++ development!!

Hello everyone,

Does anyone here use visual studio mainly for c++ development, and if so, do you think it's worth upgrading to 2019?

We have 7 stand alone licenses for visual studio 2017, and since I can't find any upgrade pricings, we would have to buy 7 new stand alone licenses for 2019. Which is no problem, but I have installed the 30 day trial version and I don't really notice anything different, at least not for the way we use it.

I will of course test some more, but I would love to hear other's experiences, before making a decision whether we should upgrade or not.

I would hate to miss something crucial and "must have" Smiley

Many thanks in advance for any insights!

I think the only areas of impovement in vs2019 over 2017 would be related to refactoring and intellisense. Visual Micro offers the same features in both IDE's.
