Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Problem with Boards manager urls

Hi
Is there anywhere where I can reset the VisualMicro configuration files?
It looks like I have a problem with the Boards Manager Urls, visual micro does not recognize new boards when I put them in the configuration.
And I can see that it fails on some old urls that is not in the list any more, and they are not in the arduino IDE either.

Is there any way to solve this?

The editable list of urls is on the IDE Locations window. If you clear the list then it clears them all.

Thanks, but when I clear the list in the dialog, then I am still getting errors from historical url, that is not in the list any more.
Is there a configuration file where I can look to see if there is some corruption or delete some files to start over again?

If you can give the info in the yellow box above it will show where the files are

Normall c:\users\yourname\appdata\local\arduino15.

Please zip all the index.json files in that folder and attach here or email using above address before deleting them.

Hi

I cannot attach the the json files, it says no permissions to upload, but I have maliled the files.

Think it worked removing the files from the directory..
It does not give me any error now, then I will see when I begin programming again if it gives any errors..
