VS Arduino - Serial port always jumps back to network address

Serial port always jumps back to network address (Read 783 times)

	Visual Studio 2017, latest release of Visualmicro I have a project with ESP32 and OTA uploads work well with IP 192.168.178.60. Now I added an Arduino Mega to my project connected with USB on COM5 of my WIN10 PC. When I load my project Visualmicro always shows the IP address of my ESP32 even if I select an Arduino Mega board. If I select COM5 as serial port it always jumps back to the network IP address even if the ESP32 is off. Why can't I select the local serial port of the connected Mega?

	Make sure you have NOT switched on "vMicro>General>Auto Select Board/Port When a Device Conntects" Still an issue? Follow the guide in yellow above. Thanks
