Build Error with rawliteral JS Code included in Sketch
Dec 1st, 2020 at 1:14pm

There is a sketch posted on GitHub at https://github.com/RuiSantosdotme/ESP32-Course/blob/master/code/WiFi_Web_Server_...

This sketch illustrates the use of an asynchronous web server using an ESP32 module.

I have pasted it into the Arduino IDE and it compiles, uploads and works OK.

However, using exactly the same sketch in Visual Micro/Visual Studio, the compiler reports an error:

ESP32DHTAsync.ino: 30:1: error: 'setInterval' does not name a type

   Read temperature as Celsius (the default)

ESP32DHTAsync.ino: 31:1: error: 'setInterval' does not name a type

   float t = dht.readTemperature()

Error compiling project sources

Build failed for project 'ESP32DHTAsync'
