Archive an entire project.

I am using VM with Microchip Studio.

Is possible to archive an entire project?
I have tried but it seems to me that this possibility does not exist.

What I would like to do is to be able to save an entire project in a zip file, complete with all the libraries it uses.

What I want to avoid is that updates to the libraries can prevent compilation or make my program work differently from the current one.

It might also be useful for moving your code to another computer without having to have all the libraries installed.

Of course, there should also be the possibility to open the project contained in this zip file.

Bye

Hi

Take a look at "vMicro>Compiler>Always Export Zip" and see if the zip created during the build process is useful?

I'm using Microchip Studio, the last version 7.0.2542, with Visual Micro.

The option vMicro -> Compiler -> Always Export Source As Zip is gray and not clickable.

Oh sorry I forgot it is quite new and so far only supports Visual Studio projects. We will try to add to the list for the next release.
