Does anybody have any experience with using the new version of visual studio 19 for Apple m1 chip silicon. Does it support visual micro? How is the performance?

Anyone know if visual micro can run on a Mac using parallels, or any other work around?

Yes a few users use parallels but I think with a non-windows pc it is difficult to run windows.

Out of interest, what does the mac give you that windows does not?

Apologize for taking so long to respond. I want to switch from my current pc (intel nuc i7 7th gen) which is very slow. Would like to go to the new m1 Mac mini which reviewers report very fast benchmarks as well as high power efficiency. I have been spending much time lately programming an esp32 with visual micro, and it would not make sense to switch without that support on the new machine.

I would prefer avoiding getting a high performance intel pc that is very power hungry. Mostly I leave the pc running 24/7.
