Plans for vs2022
Jun 23rd, 2021 at 1:56pm

Are there plans to support visual studio 2022?   I've been using the public preview, and already know I'll want to switch asap, but I will want the micro extension when I do.

Yes we will be releasing a preview over the coming week. Microsoft are still.working on the debugger side of things and have some gallery changes to make.

We will post a preview to this forum.

Hi

There is a link to an alpha version in the new releases section of this gallery. It does not support hardware debugging because Microsoft have still to update their debuggers for VS2022.

There will be more updates shortly.

If you purchase a VS2019 license in the next 3 months, you will be eligible for a free upgrade to the VS2022 license.

We will be making the upgrade process available soon and will email, and update this thread when it is ready.
