Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Dialog pops up frequently.

Can you confirm:
1) Whether you have the solution within any version control system?
2) What version of Visual Micro you are currently running?
3) What Antivirus / AntiMalware are you running?

To answer your questions:
1) there is no version control system.
2) I said it was 1.2021.0606. 
3) Malwarebytes.

Looking at you web page says "A new menu item "vMicro>General>Automatic Atmel Studio Device Selection" allows us to disable Visual Micro's attempt to manage the mcu/device associated to an AS7 project. This allows us to set a specific device that AS7 will use for intellisense and also for programming/debug when the AS7 tools are used in conjunction with an Arduino project.

There doesn't appear to be one on my installation!
