Logging window button colours

Hi,

I use a dark theme for VS and several of the buttons end up with a yellow font on a light grey button that is almost impossible to see.

Can this be changed to make them visible?

Thanks for the report.

Can you confirm this is in the Serial Monitor window in Visual Micro?

If you can supply a screenshot where this happens it will help us to fix all buttons at once?

Thanks for the update, have you customized the colours for the Dark Theme in Visual Studio?

Can you Export the Setting from Tools > Import Export Settings, and attach them to this thread?

Ah, now I remember I was trying to unify my ide's - Notepad++ VS etc. and I used the Dracula theme as it does the job - for everything except the buttons it seems..
https://draculatheme.com/

I guess there's a way to change the buttons to something sensible.

Thanks for the detail, the buttons appear correctly in the standard Visual Studio Themes.

We will look at the provided Dracula theme and see if there is anything we can safely do without impacting the majority of users.

We have installed the Dracula Theme however we do not see the same issue you are having.

Our result is shown in the attached image, where we started with the Dark theme, and then installed the Dracula Theme.

Can you export your settings from Tools > Import and Export Settings, so we can try to identify where the issue lies?

Thanks for the settings. Can you confirm which version of Visual Micro is installed? (we are still struggling to replicate this in VS2019 or VS2022)

A user has reported this previously, it was caused by another extension or a windows theme.

Q: The window is using windows forms controls. Can you think of anything else you have installed that attempts to control style, theme or colors?

Q: Which version of windows are you running?

I'm using Windows 11

I have background set to black, colour mode set to dark, no custom themes.
I have MS office Professional Plus 2021 installed and Office theme set to Black, Office Background set to Clouds.

As far as I'm aware I don't have any custom styles, themes or colours set or programs installed that should affect that.

If you reset your vs settings via the tools menu then select the built in dark theme it should be fine.
