Plot function at Adruino IOT jlink debug
Jul 26th, 2022 at 1:52pm
Running a simple Blink with a counter.
In debugging with jlink and without serial interface the value of the counter i will be displayed in the output window.
With the try of the @Plot function

see attached Screenshot

a failure message appears in the output window:
„Breakpoint 2, loop () at C:\Users\user\source\repos\Nano_IOT_Blink/Nano_IOT_Blink.ino:16
16        if (i >= 1000) {
-var-create: unable to create variable object“

What is missing?

Arduino Nano 33 IOT / jlink / Visual Studio 2022 / Visual Micro

Thanks for the report.

The @Plot functionality is only currently available in the Serial Debugger, and the video on the below page also shows how to get this setup:

This is not currently compatible with any of the Hardware Debugging options such as JLink or GDBStub.
