Intellissense issue - variables declaration not recognized
Nov 23rd, 2022 at 2:08pm

Hi,
from some time on, when declaring uint8_t and other numeric var types,  Intellisense informs "identifier is undefined".
The code is compiled and runs well.

Thanks for the report.

Can you attach the full build log from your program with the settings enabled as shown at the top of the page?

Can you also confirm if you are using VS2017/VS2019 or VS2022?

Thanks for the logs, if you update Visual Micro from the Downloads page this should resolve the issue in VS2019 and VS2022:
https://www.visualmicro.com/page/Arduino-Visual-Studio-Downloads.aspx

There is also an RC3 Release of the new Visual Micro 2.0 for VS2022, which improves intellisense using a different system, and we will be releasing this for both VS versions in the coming days:

Hi,

I installed the suggested updates for VS 2019 and VS 2022 and both versions are working fine now.
Thanks!
