Hi when I try to add code to VS2022 and Visual Micro - Release 22.11.28.15 I don't get any text box to fill the name for the new tabs.

Regards Sonny

First reinstalled VSmicro with no luck. Then unistalled  VS 2022 and deleted all information I could find. Reinstalled VS2022 and lnstalled VSmicro from Extensions manager.

At last it works!

Back to square one,
no input box when I tried to make a new code tab and give it a name.
No reinstallation this time but I found the problem after some trial/error.

I use a HP elitebook with one external curved widescreen.
The external screen have a recomended scale factor. That was the problem. When I use 100% scale everything works great.

When I think about it I can remember some other software and functions that didnĀ“t liked the recomended scalefactors.

No scale factor for me anymoore!

Thanks for the update. That is interesting. What did you click to "add new file tab"?

I just click Add Code and chosed one of the options, .ino etc.
Then a new winndow opens and tell me to enter a name for the new Arduino file. The problem is that there is now place or option to enter any data.
My screen then have recomended resolution 3444x1444 pxs and recomended 175% scale factor.
When scale factor is set to 150% or less there are no problems.

Thanks. That option uses the standard windows/vs prompt. It sounds like it might be off screen or on another monitor but we will try.

You can add code many ways. For example, see the image to use the standard Visual Studio "Add Item" window. It probably scales better.
