Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

If intellisense suddenly stops working in an arduino project then close the project and delete the .ncb file from the sketch/project folder.

The most obvious sign of intellisense failing is switching between uno and mega boards. CTRL+J should show one "Serial" entry for the uno and "Serial, Serial 1, Serial 2 etc" when you select a mega board

This is a known Visual Studio 2008 problem and is not caused by the addin
