Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

Error uploading to Uno R3

Hi,
Has anyone else had this problem?
I installed the Uno R3, compiled and uploaded using the Aduino IDE. When I use VS I get this error.

Error shows the wrong board is selected...

'Arduino Duemilanove w/ ATmega328'

Should be "Arduino Uno"

I haven't tested the isp on r3 but it should be okay. I have an r3 if you get any problems

The error happens for both boards. I did notice the board problem. I changed board but still the same. 
I eventually deleted the project, uninstalled Arduino-0022 and started from scratch with Arduino-1.0. I can program both boards from the bootloader but my ISP is still not working.

Not true anymore. The comms to the boards seem to get lost somewhere. After a while I cannot connect to any board. Almost like windows looses the handle to the device. The port is visible but not available to any program.

Did we fix this in the end? Was it a bootloader or com port issue? Or something else?

I honestly can't say as I have not used the ISP since then. I will be using it shortly again and then I will let you know how it is.
