I did some research and found this one
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Inconsolata

This is an OTF font which you have to convert to ttf for it to work with VS.

So, I used this online font converter
http://www.freefontconverter.com/
and then put the ttf file in the windows fonts directory, it will show as Consolas font name.

If you have VS studio running you need to close it and restart for the new font to show.

If you want to edit a font, this is a free program
http://www.cr8software.net/typelight.html
do not try to save the Inconsolata font as a ttf using this program, it won`t work!, use the online converter.
