Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi, With VS2010 when trying to change Micro Debug to Full I receive the message 'Sorry beta testers only. The debug tools is an upgrade.....Please join the forum for offers and updates' I have joined the forum so how could I have installed it wrongly - it works fine without the debug function.

Hi,

Your application for beta was processed when it was received and and email was sent to you about the beta.

Did you receive an email that begins "Dear Beta Tester" ?

+ I recommend reading the message at the top of each board that explains how to switch on automatic email notifications for replies to your topics

Yes I did receive that mail and followed the instructions contained therein although I may have made a mistake of course. I have looked on the forum and can see no other reference to the error message I get.

Hi, its not an error it is an information message that appears if the debugger upgrade is not installed. Dd you run the upgrade from the beta page to the same location that you installed the plugin?

Tim,
I agree I am probably installing to the wrong location(s).
I am running Win 7. I downloaded both files for the debugger and run the 2 MSI files. Looking afterwards it seems to correct.
Version Assembly location from the Options menu is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual.Micro.Visual.Studio.Arduino.10.dll
And that exists in that folder
With version 1.211.4
Kind of lost.

Do you mean you downloaded the codeplex plugin and also a single download from the beta page?

It looks like you have installed the plugin in the wrong place

Quote:

1) Please uninstall both from windows control panel 

2) Install the plugin leaving the installer options as default

3) Install the debug upgrade leaving the installer options as default

Then it will work
