Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Error during install

I'm running:
   Windows 8 Pro 64-Bit w/8GB Ram
   Visual Studio 2010 Pro version 10.0.30319.1 RTMRel
   Arduino UNO 
   Arduino 1.0.3

During the install, I receive the following error:  "Error 1001: InstallUtilLib.dll: Unknown Error".  After clicking OK, the install is rolled back.  

Has anyone else received this error?  I googled it and found references to InstallShield which is what I guess the install package was created with.

Hi, you need to enable .NET3.5 via Controls Panel>Programs and Features.
