Installation Problems

At one time I had all working including the debugger. I have since mucked it up some how. I tried reinstalling both the Visual Micro and the Debugger. At this point I do not have the Arduino option on the VS File Menu and the Arduino Boards and Arduino Serial Communications toolbars have lost all options. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help that you can give me.

Yes it sounds like the addin is disabled. Open "Tools>Addin Manager" and see if the first two checkboxes are ticked. If not then tick them and click OK, the boards list should populate.

If they were ticked already then ensure that "Tools>Arduino>Location" is a valid path to the arduino.exe.

If you see the boards and ports lists working but you are still missing some menu items then run the /resetaddin described here

Did you enter your arduino.exe location in the tools>options?

Do you have boards toolbar?

Thanks

After installing the plugin and running VS a message should have appeared showing you this information.

The arduino location is specified here Tools>Options>Visual Micro>Arduino>Arduino Application

Please use the main web site for documentation
