Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Need help please. Arduino for visual studio installed and working in visual studio ultimate but I cannot get the debug instalation to work. Two folders are added to visual micro folder(extensions and micro platforms) but it does not seem to be available to VS. The "show output from" displays only the micro build option and breakpoints do not work. Tools>addin manager shows only "visual micro arduino" option. Thanks in advance

Hi John,

Sounds like vm is installed just fine. Have you watched the youtube video on the debugger page?

Have you looked for the project properties to enable the debug for the current project?

Thanks for the reply.
I was not locating the properties as explained in the video. All is well now and a great product. I can finally debug my Arduino projects.
