Full Installer available for Arduine

I am developing an own installer system. After still having problem on Windows with all the items to install I want to ask if anyone is interested if I would make any installer system for whole Arduino + Plugins system.

I still don't know where to put the "AvrGCC.dll" into :/

I think I have no rights to create such an installer because I am not manufacturer of it. But if VisualMicro will support me, I will create such an installer with options.

Regards

Hi,

I guess you are talking about an installer for Atmel Studio. The patch has been purposely excluded so that when Atmel release the next version it can be deleted from the internet. If people attempt to apply the patch to a newer version of Atmel it will cause huge support problems and confusion so best avoided. The patch also only affects the debug properties to the basic plugin will work fine without it.

Are you suggesting including Arduino and the plugin with the installer? Again that limits everyone to a fixed Arduino version and will be dangerous..

Which areas of the install have you had problems with?

Thanks
