Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Installation error

Hi, in visual studio 2012 after I installed this September 2013 release i get this error:


And i can't do anything.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to report this.

We have found this problem is caused by clicking "repair" on the visual micro install. For some reason the microsoft installer removes but does not re-apply some important .txt files that are contained with the installer.

Please run the install and click Uninstall, then run it again and click "Install". This will fix the problem.

For future reference Visual Micro can also be uninstalled via windows "Add or Remove Software>Visual Micro for Arduino". All previous versions are available via our downloads site.
