Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Hi,
I have just installed VS prof 2013.
I am using 1.5.5-r2 and just downloaded your latest patch xx.11.
Under Tools nothing appears.
Under options 3rd line 'app ide location' returns a Visual.Micro.TaskDialog....yak,yak system cannot find file..
Am I correct in assuming that v1.5 is supported now?

Hi Vanja,

Thanks for asking the question. This sounds like the Ide had not closed fully and released a visual micro dll prior to the upgrade.

I suggest closing the ide. Open task manager and ensure that any remaining devenv.exe (for visual studio) and atmelstudio.exe, atbackend.exe (for atmel studio) processes are running. Then run the install and click Un-install then run again and click install.

You are right, Arduino 1.5 has been supported since May last year.

EDIT: An alternative uninstall is via Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>Visual Micro>Uninstall

Hi,
Still cannot install. Same as before.
I uninstalled and rebooted and reinstalled.
devenv.exe *32 process loads and unloads together with VS.
A legacy or phantom Visual Micro remains after uninstall albeit greyed out.

Ok, thanks for the update. We will test upgrading from a pre 2013 version of Visual Micro to the latest beta
