About updating VisualMicro

Hi Tim,

looks like the new version is around the corner. Since I want to get the Debugger, I was wondering if it's better to wait for the new version (for a smoother update), or if getting the debugger before does no harm.

Thanks

Hi Giles, makes no difference. Every one gets free upgrades for at least a year but currently it's an indefinably longer period of time.

The idea is to raise a bit of cash to justify and cover projects costs not to get rich. The debugger is a small part of the tool really.

If enough people don't buy the debugger then the entire product might carry a cost in the future. In which case all debugger licences will automatically be upgraded to apply to the entire product (at no extra cost).

I'm not looking to suck additional cash from existing customers, just looking for fair return on some hard work Smiley

Tim, looks to me a quite a lot of hard work. I don't know how many hours there are behind Visual Micro, but I guess it' huge Shocked.

Again thanks for this very useful add-on.
