Hello all,
System is as follows :
Win 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Core i5-3570K
16GB RAM
Running Visual Studio 2010 Express, both VB and C#
I have downloaded the installer from
http://visualmicro.codeplex.com/, close all IDEs, and run it, following the "First Time User Guide" instructions on
http://www.visualmicro.com/post/2011/10/04/How-to-test-a-new-installation-of-Ard...; It proceeds through the install process, has no errors, gives no warnings or issues, and says it completed successfully.
When I open VS Express (Either VB or C#) I see no evidence at all that the product has been installed. Contrary to the 4th bullet point, "Run the Visual or Atmel Studio ide, you will be prompted to enter the location of the arduino ide", i receive no prompt of any kind.
There is no new toolbar or plugin showing ports or boards to be selected.
As best I can tell, my VS IDE is **identical**, in every way, to what it was prior to installation.
Control Panel -> Programs and Features lists no indication of Visual Micro being installed (Not sure if it's supposed to or not).
I've noted several threads where people suggest running the installer as Administrator. Right clicking the install file does not give me that option :
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, with no difference in the results.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
