Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Not a big issue, but it seems that the COM-port drop down list does not populate. From Tools >> Visual Micro >> Serial Port there is no problem choosing COM-port.

Hi,

Thanks we have seen this. The list populates correctly when a board is plugged in or reconnected, seems to be a caching issue we will resolve. 

As you say the tools menu does work and unplug/replug the board will also work then the problem will not happen again within the current ide session.

ps: The visual micro version is shown on tools>options>visual micro>version. It is similar to the installer version but slightly different. not a problem but might save some time in the future.

Tried some of it you mentioned above, without any difference.
Though, this is for me an non-issue, just cosmetic.
