Unable to install

A bit frustrated as  installation should be straightforward.

I do not have the C or C++ options in the text editor option box.
I have the option of opening a Ard sketch or creating a new sketch but after selecting
and trying to open or create a error message box which states Unable to create an Ard project
for ATmel Studio.
I can load a file(.ino) into the workspace, the colours are ok, but I cannot crete a project for it.

I seem to have an ard toolbar at the bottom of the 2 ATmel toolbars.  Here I can select between
Ard 1.0 and 1.5 and set the ide location and sketch location.
I have selected Ardunio 1.0 and set the path to the arduino.exe Ver1.05r2.
There are no options for the Ard board selection (mega, uno, etc) drop down box.
The Com box does work. I can detect a Mega running a program and see the data from the Mega.

I am using win 7, 32 bit with ATmelStudio 6(V6.1.2730 SP2).
I downloaded VM from your website In tools->Options->VisualMicro the version is 1.1401.26.
All my hardware requirments are good.

I have a path to the visual micro program files in
tools->options--environment->addin/macro Security (C:\Program Files\Visual Micro|Visual Micro for Aruino)
and there are files in the directory.
I have a "tools->options->Visual Micro" tab with values in most locations.
I don't have a "Tools->Arduino->Programmers" selection.
I don't have tools->Visual Micro->programmers or boards. Both selections are grayed over and offer no choices.

I have tried deleting and reloading VisualMicro several times, it loads well but nothing changes.
I have tried it on a second computer, same OS, same ATmel, studio but the same.

It looks like I have part of a install but I don't know where to look next.

I can see others have no problem, I would like to get this figured out.
Any Suggestions??

Thank You

Hi,

The page about the C/C++ text editor option has a note to say it does not apply to atmel studio.

The note next to the Arduino 1.0.x Ide location says it must be a folder name and not .exe name.

What have you entered as the Ide location?

Thanks

Thank you, I corrected the entry to point to a directory.

So far all is good except I am not getting the option to set file extensions to C or C++ in the text editor.
This appears the only thing I am missing. Compile and download is really fast.
I re installed the visualmicro.msi but no change.
I will search the forum for hints and I am hoping you might have a suggestion.

Cheers

Please ignore my last request, I got all the colours working though the forum.
First opinion of this IDE  - this is a impressive IDE - thanks to the developers.
