Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Visual MIcro will not install on Atmel Studio 6.2 when VS 2013 is on same machine

I need to find a solution to target which application Visual Micro will be installed in when I have both Visual Studio 2013 and Atmel Studio version 6.2 installed on the same laptop. 

Currently Visual Micro will only install in Visual Studio 2013, not in Atmel Studio -- where I want it/need it to be installed. 

There is no option/ability to select the target application (VS 2013 vs. Atmel Studio) when installing Visual Micro
.   
I need to keep VS 2013 pristine for web development, and use Atmel Studio for the purposes in which it excels...

Hi Dean,

Each installation of Visual Micro will install for whatever Ide's it can find. So Vm for Vs and Atmel will always be installed if Vs and Atmel are installed.

Hopefully the confusion is simply that Atmel 6.2 is beta and new so you also need the beta of Visual Micro which is always linked at the top of the http://www.visualmicro.com home page.

I'd post the link here but when it becomes out of date it causes a broken link.

So please close all ids's and install the beta which is also for vs.

Does that solve the issue?
