Import Library failing

I'm a customer since Dec 2013 and didn't had a problem until a few days ago when I was prompted for a new VisualMicro download. I'm using VisualStudio Professional 2012.
After that, I'm getting an error when I compile. It seemed like the existing library files are no longer accessible. I tried to add import again but it didn't work. I could see my user library and able to select it, but the files were still not included. As I've said, the only thing that changed was
the new download. Please help.

Sorry to hear of the problem.

Please confirm which arduino version and which board?

Also please switch on the following "tools>options>visual micro"
  • Compiler>Verbose
  • Compiler>Show build properties

After switching on these options please try to compile with the libraries #included. Then email the output to info [at] visualmicro.com

Can you also give the names of the libraries and where they are located user or core?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the info. There have been a huge number of library changes in the Arduino Ide recently. Visual Micro has been modified to support the 3 different library versions. Generally it seems to be working okay but it might be that you have hit a combination that fails. Hopefully easily resolved.

Please confirm your user libraries are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\libraries

Please zip and email your C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\libraries folder

Please zip and email your sketch folder

Email to info [at] visualmicro.com

Thanks

Thanks very much for the email, last request I promise. Would you please zip and email your sketch folder and if possible also zip and email your libraries folder.

I think it will confuse things to have duplicates so let's stick with the skethcbook/libraries folder if we can.

Thanks

Hi thanks for the email. Please send the zips again with the entire contents of your libraries folder and the entire contents of the sketch folder. I want to see all your user libs and all the files from within the sketch folder.

Thanks
