Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

  I am a VM newbie. After installing VM on two different computers, with Studio6.1 and 6.2 respectively, I experience the same problem that is the subject of  VM tutorial #1.5 on YouTube

  Neither of the 2 suggestions resolves the issue for me. It appears that these solutions are targetted more for those doing a VM update, which was not the case for me- both of mine were completely new installs.
  If all of the params in the Properties window are duplicated in Tools/options/Visual Micro,  then I can make changes in there- which is what I am doing currently. However, I am also having debugger problems too.
  Any other things I might try?

Sorry, are you saying you have no project properties in 6.1 and 6.2?

Project properties and tools options are entirely different. You do need the project properties. Please open a sketch project then click the yellow ? on the toolbar next to the board list. Then immediately email a screen dump. thanks

I sent the capture- But, then I decided to watch the You-tube again. My mistake! I was selecting the .ino file icon, which I normally do to see code- Not the project icon.
Now I see all of the debug properties that weren't there before.
Sorry about this. Some of my debug problems may stem from not being able to adjust the parameters shown here.

Great, let's see how it goes although I don't expect there are many options that will affect some issues
