"Unable to write intellisense....." message after registration

After I paid and received my key, I successfully entered it and got a "registered" indication.  But, when I tried to work on an .ino file I had been using during the trial, I got a Visual Micro error message that read:

"Unable to write intellisense of sketch.  Access to the path (the path name is then listed) is denied."  I don't know what to do to fix this.  Running Atmel 6.2.993.

I looked at forum entries but didn't see anything relative.  Thanks for any help, Gary

Hi Gary, sorry to hear of these problems.

"Unable to write intellisense of sketch.  Access to the path (the path name is then listed) is denied."

This suggests a virus checker is preventing Visual Micro from creating files in the build folder.

Thanks Tim, I'm looking at your suggestion.  Before I registered, I installed Atmel and your s/w on a faster W7 laptop and copied all of my sketches there.  Something must have happened during this process as the .ino file association was changed.  More to look at, but I'll do some more homework before I ask for more help.

Okay if you performed the copy via a unix system then the vsintellisense file under the sketch\visual micro\ folder might have been marked as read-only because the name begins with a "."

Use windows explorer to switch off the read-only property

Thanks

I also have this problem but in a somewhat different way. I moved the sketch folder to my MacBook for field testing of the sketch. When I moved it back got this Unable to write intellisense of sketch... message. The vsintellisense file is not read-only, but is checked hidden. Unchecking has no effect.
Sketch still opens on the PC with the Arduino IDE.
How do I move back and forth between the PC and Mac as still be able to use Visual Micro? The only way I have been able to do it is to copy the code from the Arduino IDE to a new sketch in Visual Micro.

How about deleting the visual micro sub folder or not copying it?
