Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Other Serial Ports in the toolbar as well.

Hi I use the Arduino Due, and uses both USB connectors.
I't would be good to be able to select the other com port from a toolbar as the program com port.

Hi,

That's a good idea we will add it to the list. 

I guess you debug with one port then open the other to view the output.

You can add the ports you need to your own tool bar easily enough. Right click the tool strip and click customize. You will find two of each port under the add-in macros. One will set the project to the port and one with open the monitor in the same way that "other serial ports" does. Add both buttons then click them to see which does what you want. (We need to make the descriptions differ in future releases)

All Visual Micro commands are macros that you can add to your own menus and tool bars however using a 2nd instance of Atmel Studio might be easier.
