Visual Micro and VS2013 Express

Hi,

I am having trouble installing Visual Micro and Visual Studio 2013 Express (Windows Desktop version).

I have a fresh machine running Windows 7 SP1 with all MS updates. Downloaded VS2013 Express and the latest Visual Micro. I have also downloaded Arduino 1.0.5 and 1.5.6 both have no affect.

A lot of articles I've read say go to tools add-ins manager, there is no add-ins manager that I can find in VS2013.

Please help I'm pulling my hair out  Cry

Hi,

Your first machine is NOT running an express version of Visual Studio.

Express versions of Visual Studio do not support add-ins.

You can use Atmel Studio which is Visual Studio and is free.

Thanks

Ok, VS2008 opens fast so it's good but Atmel Studio is VS 2010 so better in some cases. It's up to you  Smiley
