Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Quick question about licence

I presume that purchasing a licence and activating it when using atmel studio will not preclude me from switching over to visual studio (on the same PC) and activating there also. IE. only one IDE will be active at one time and on the one PC

Hi ian,

Thank you for the question.

It's a flexible system not designed to get more money from you. When you activate a pc it should activate for all versions of VS and Atmel 6.1/6.2. You can use them together or one at a time it won't be an issue.

If you ever format your hard disk, re-install windows you will need to email sales to transfer the license which is an electronic process so no long delay.

When you purchase you will be emailed a key within a few minutes.
