Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Guide for setting up visualisation....

Hi,

is there any good guide for setting up and using the visualisation in VS2012? I could really make use of some nice graphs...

No there is not a good guide yet but there are a few things that might help but I have no idea if they make sense or not.

You can copy or hack one of the existing Visualizations to get going. You will find them below C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Micro\Visual Micro for Arduino\Micro Extensions\Debugger Visualizations

The aGuage app loads on demand, the others load if enabled. Any can be set to load if certain watch expressions are being debugged.

You can put visualizations below the visual micro program files folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Micro\Visual Micro for Arduino\Micro Extensions\Debugger Visualizations) or if you have the paid upgrade below mydocuments/\Visual Micro\Micro Extensions\Debugger Visualizations
