Have installed Visual Micro, can see it in the addin manager.  Have set location of arduino.exe.

When I try to add a new project/sketch to my solution, there is no option anywhere for visual micro.

Arduino 1.0x. Latest version of Visual Micro.  Visual Studio 2013 Update 3.

I am sure this issue is somewhere else on the forum, but I searched and can not locate it.

Hi,

The search isn't working very well at the moment but it would come up on google but I will save you the pain.

1st thing to check is if the "Tools>Visual Micro>Reset User Interface" option causes the menus to show.

If not then I think this can happen if, when you setup VS for first time use, you select a "web" or non c#/c++ layout. In which case VS seems to dumb down the menus. However all of the vm functions are available via the Visual Studio "Tools>Customization" system.

You will see the commands under the "Add-ins" tab of the Customization system. From there you can add the FileOpenSketch and NewSketchProject macros to the "File" menu or any other location if your choice.

Hope this helps

Thanks Tim...

That seems to have done it.  I see the option on the menu now.
