Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

i had install the visual micro   and can cread the new projec .but the visual assistX  can not work in the .ino  forvisual stdio 2010.
what shold i do?

I resolve the problem .
but there is another issue for windows 8.1 that we can not save the regedit the for  VAX.
so we need resart the explore.exe as administor.

Hi,

The issues are a result of the application not having permission to write to your registry. You also experience the same problem when trying to manually save.

To allow permission you should run programs as administrator. Right click then and click "Run as administrator". Do this with the installer, the ide and regedit until you have a working system. It's easier to do this than discover why you have so little permissions for your own machine  Smiley

there is no "run as administor" but "run"  when right click, so...

Sorry ignore what I have said, I misread your post

Visual Assist in Visual Studio (not Atmel Studio) is not a standard part of the Ide so you have to configure .ino files for use with VAX yourself.

It's quite easy and the support team at the company that makes VisualAssistX has kindly provided a "how to"
