Hello,

I am at the latest release of Atmel Studio 6.2. After upgrade I am getting the mentioned error with this appended info...

"The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT:0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))"

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling no luck.

A little help please,

Thanks,

R.

Hi Rando,

Sometimes this can be caused by another addin or extension preventing Visual Micro from creating menu items.

If you click "tools>visual micro>reset user interface" the ide should re-start. Does this issue still happen after that?

If it does then please switch on "tools>options>visual micro>user interface>trace". then re-start the ide. After ithe ide loads an output window should appear with the visual micro trace results. please copy and email to info [at] visualmicro.com

Thanks

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the input, I will try your suggestion.

Best,

R.

Ps. I found a wonderful project that uses Visual Micro to the fullest. Must share: http://www.mastrogippo.it/2015/01/1337-3310-tool-demo-video-and-sources-online/#... I downloaded his code and am learning his setup.
