Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Compiling does not work anymore - Atmel Studio 6.1

Today I suddenly found out that compiling does not work in Atmel Studio
When selecting run or build I get this micro build output info

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Atmel.Studio.Services.Interfaces, Version=6.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d264112969646cc9' or one of its dependencies. Det går inte att hitta filen.
File name: 'Atmel.Studio.Services.Interfaces, Version=6.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=d264112969646cc9'
   at Visual.Micro.Visual.Studio.Arduino.AddInApp.CompileDo(Project oProject, Boolean IsDebugStartCommand)
   at Visual.Micro.Visual.Studio.Arduino.AddInApp.Compile(Project oProject, Boolean IsDebugStartCommand)

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Please tell me the version of atmel studio you are using from Help>About.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the info. 

When you say compiling does not work anymore did you mean to say that you had just upgraded to the latest visual micro version or was it working then it just stopped for no reason?

I think I had just upgraded to the latest Visual Micro version. At any rate after upgrading Atmel Studio to 6.2 it does work again
