VS Arduino - Part 2: Error Compiling Blinker.ino in VS2013 Ultimate after downloading new Adruino IDE

Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled

Save the new Output to a Text File and....

Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

	Hi, The only important bit of the output is this -DARDUINO=163 As you will see on our home page and downloads page we do not yet support Arduino 1.6.3 or 1.6.2 both of which were released in the last few weeks. We are making a new update for Visual Micro over the next few days. You can also find at the top of the web site and download page a link to older versions of the arduino ide. Version 1.6.1 from the last month or so is fine. Thanks

	Hi, I just joined this forum to say THANK YOU! and THIS WAS KILLING ME ALL DAY! I mean literally killing me. I died and went to heaven. And god was like "See? I do exist!" and I was like "wow that's awesome! I'm so happy to know that there is a god! you know, down there there's no single piece of solid evidence! I was totally skeptic, god! good job hiding!" and god was smiling and stuff. and then I said "I was so unhappy today, god! I really wanted to move to AtmelStudio because I outgrew the Arduino IDE, but for some reason I couldn't build a sketch properly! I kept getting an "Error compiling" message on the build output, and I was totally lost and there was no information about it online! and god was like "Yes, My son. I know. I'm sorry. There was one piece of information that you did not see. It was only posted in one place online and you missed it. The latest stable release of Visual Micro wasn't made to run with Arduino 1.6.3, and since you decided to update all of the related tools, you ended up messing up for yourself. "Gee wiz! Thanks god! I did not know that! Say, what kind of internet connection speed have you got up here?" and god said "My son, you are young. You have many lines of code to program. I am getting you back into your body. you have another 16 years to live before you die in a terrible car crash. Use every moment of your short time on earth to its fulle I couldn't even hear the end of his sentence. I woke up in front of my computer, I installed the latest beta and now it works perfectly. True story.
