Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Activation limit exceedeed

I recently wiped my laptop and re installed windows and I have just got around to reinstalling visual studio and visual micro.

to start with I had a little trouble getting vs2015 community working then discovered that the installation was slightly different, no biggie, this is now sorted.

upon applying my serial, it is giving me an error saying:

Error: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. Activation limit exceeded for this key.

What can I do?
Sounds like it doesn't like how many times visual micro has been installed to me.

Could I get this reset?

Yes you can email your key to info [at] visualmicro.com and request a reset
