Are you saying that you have a Native Atmel Gcc project and you do not use Visual Micro or Arduino compatibility for your project?

Yes. (at this time) i only want to "import" / use some Arduino libs in the 80 % ready Studio 6.2 project but the klicking on: Add/Import Arduino library (in the Project menu) does not "work" it seems to be a "dummy" - or incomplete - functionality (error) of Studio / Visualmicro ?

Hi, it's part of the Arduino system and should be disabled when you have a non-arduino project open. We will look into that thanks but is correct that it does not work for non-arduino.

In the meantime you can try navigating to the library folder, copy the sources and add them manually to your project.

Importing to atmel is currently outside of what visual micro is designed to do. You could grab a copy of atmel studio 7 beta. Atmel are working on an Arduino importer.

Thank you !

I thought this .... ;-( ... Yes functions having no "background" / reaction to the user ... should be "grey", completely disabled or something propting ...

But thank you anyway for your comments / help !
