Windows 10 Missing Menu Items

Hi,

My PC is a fresh install of Windows 10 with Atmel Studio 6.2 and the latest Visual Micro.

Problem is when i create a new project, I can not see any Arduino options like I can on my windows 10 laptop which seems identical...  Sad

Below is the pop-up screen right after right-clicking the solution and adding another project.

Below is the same pop-up screen from my windows 10 laptop...

Pretty strange huh?

Anyway, your help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers

Hi,

Please answer this question. It might seem unrelated to you but it isn't

Can you see the "File>New>Arduino project" menu item?

Thanks

1)
The file>new>arduino project does add to the open solution.

2)
The latest visual micro release hopefully fixes an installer issue that failed to show the visual micro templates in the File>New>Project wizard

You legend! That's good enough for me.
VM 1508_14 did not fix the template issue but this is good enough.

Cheers

Great.

Well I am pleased to say the new Visual Studio 2015 version of Visual Micro is an extension. The install work really well because it does NOT use the Microsoft .msi system! Visual Micro will be an extension for Atmel Studio 7!!

You can install the templates yourself easily enough

Copy the files and folder from:-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Visual Micro\Visual Micro for Arduino\Atmel Studio\Project Templates

To:-

C:\Users\[your name]\Documents\Atmel Studio\Templates\ProjectTemplates

Then re-start as6
