Unable to program Arduino Pro Mini

Exactly the same sketch, same programmer, same serial.
On Arduino IDE it works and loads the program
On Visual Micro it does compile but does not load the program with a lot of errors.

What errors? There are none in your report.

The only error is attempting to upload. Did you mean to upload using Usb or Arduino As ISP?

The program compiles correctly but does not upload.

The configuration is:
Arduino Pro or Arduino Pro Mini
ATMega 328
COM3
Arduino as ISP

It is identical between Visual Studio and Arduino IDE.
On Arudino IDE it works on Visual Micro it does not Sad

As I suspected you are not using Arduino As ISP programmer. You are using standard usb which is how you upload in the Arduino Ide with the upload button. To upload using a programmer in the arduino ide you use "File>Upload using programmer"

Please un-tick visual micro "Always upload using programmer" which you have ticked by mistake.

The only thing that might make my statement incorrect is if you are using the Arduino 1.6.6 beta which has a new menu item that works like the Visual Micro system (Always upload using programmer)
