Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Visual Studio 2015 Crashing Regularly

Since updating to Visual Studio 2015 and the latest version of Visual Micro VS is crashing 10+ times a day.  I believe I have linked it to the serial / USB.  I can often crash Visual studio if I have a serial monitor open to an arduino and pull the usb cable out.  Or simply hitting the reset button on the arduino causes a crash in VS often too.

What can I provide to you in terms of log files etc and where can I find them?

I currently have 3 Arduino Micro's and a Uno plugged into my machine.  However I can replicate this even with just one Arduino attached to my machine.

What is the name, datetime, version of the usb driver for the micro?
