Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Not so free version of VS 2015 (SOLVED)

I followed VM's links to download Visual Studio 2015 Community but the license is only a 30 day trial!  Is this just a boneheaded mistake or have others experienced this?

Hi,

Sorry if it isn't clear. 

The trial is of the advanced features such as debugger. Click cancel and you can carry on using all the basic features which cover just about all of what the arduino ide does and a lot more.

Let me know if something required to build and upload arduino programs was working and isn't any longer?

To use the free version all you have to do is update the software regularly so that its got the latest features and fixes. Thanks Smiley
