Is it possible to switch to Atmel Studio debugging?

I have a shiny new Atmel ICE programmer/debugger and I would like to use the Atmel Studio debugger via JTAG. I'm using a custom built Arduino clone and have got it set up for JTAG - I can program sketches into it over JTAG and have successfully debugged simple Atmel Studio projects, but the Arduino libraries are a lot more productive than ASF, so I would prefer to carry on using them. Is there any way to tell the Visual Micro debugger to stand aside and let the Atmel Studio debugger take over?

The only way at the moment is to build with Visual Micro then click "File>Open object file for debugging"
