STM STLink Programmer for STM chips
Jul 21st, 2016 at 11:57pm

How do I get VisualMicro to recognize the STM STLink programmer for use with STM32 based boards? https://www.adafruit.com/products/2548  If you're not familiar with it, it's just a little USB dongle with 10 output/control pins on the other end.  It looks almost exactly like the Atmel USB ISP programmer.  Under device manager, it does not show up as a serial port, it appears under 'Universal Serial Bus Devices'.  The Arduino IDE recognizes it and can upload to it, but not VM.

Hi,

Unless my info is out of date then in the Arduino IDE you have changed "Upload Method" from Serial to STLink?

If so then are you saying that you dont have a vMicro>Option = Upload Method to change from Serial to STLink?

If not the case then please give a screen shot of the vMicro menu and also the menu in the Arduino IDE where you have selected ST Link

Thanks
