Greets Tim!  Have just built a new "uber-PC" and naturally didn't think to copy my VM license code.  My new install shows "trial" - can you direct me how to get my license code to be come legal again?   Smiley

quick question on license status:

Where does one look to find the license status??

I paid for pro a few years ago but have since moved to using a new computer and recently installed VS 2105 and VM on a new computer.

HI,

It's in "tools>options>visual micro" near the top when grouped by category (application & features)

If it doesn't show REGISTERED then you need to activate using your key. If the key doesn't work then email it to visualmicro.com and request reset.

I just looked that up and :

License status shows: REGISTERED

And License Key is blank.

Do I need to power up the old computer and look for the key?

Yikes:

I have to learn to read the COMPLETE message and stop reading after the first line!!

Your answer clearly said: "If it doesn't show REGISTERED then you need to activate using your key. "

So I am good to go!

Thanks for the wonderful work you are doing and have done with VM!

Cheesy
